Sm, —I would wish to draw the attention of Inspector Nimou to the existence of an intolerable nuisance in the lower part of Walker street. A most abominable stench arises from a cow-shed in that locality, and about six o’clock in the morning it is quite unbearable. lam an early riser, and unfortunately have to pass this place on leaving and returning home. If piggeries are prohibited within the precincts of the City, surely the keeping of cows ought to be similarly dealt with. I. cm testify from experience that one is as bad as the other.
