A NUISANCE.
To the Editor.

A most abominable stench arises from a cow-shed in that locality, and about six o’clock in the morning it is quite unbearable. lam an early riser, and unfortunately have to pass this place on leaving and returning home. If piggeries are prohibited within the precincts of the City, surely the keeping of cows ought to be similarly dealt with. I. cm testify from experience that one is as bad as the other. Trusting that this reminder will suffice, I am, &.c. , Early Bird. Dunedin, 2dth February.
