The Result, from Waikouaiti, passed tip to Dunedin this morning. The ship Charlotte Gladstone was towed up from the Quarantine Ground to the railway pier to discharge her cargo. The Harbour Company’s steamer Maori returned from her northern trip this morning at 6.40. She reports leaving Lyttelton at 8.15 p.m. on the 10th ; arrived at Akaioa at 1.10 a. in. on the 20th. Left Akaroa at 3.10 a.in., and arrived at Timaru at 12.15 p.m., having been detained there by a heavy breeze of wind fiom the N.E. On arrival at Port Chalmers she steamed alongside the City of Dunedin to ■discharge preserved meats. The Pretty Jane, from the Bluff and Molyneux, arrived in Port Chalmers yesterday evening. Captain Christian reports leaving the Bluff last Tuesday at f> p.m., and arrived at the Molyneux on Wednesday, at 7 p.m.; left again at 0 a.m. yesterday morning, having lain at anchor under the Nuggets all Wednesday, on account of the stiff north-easter which was blowing. Nothing was seen on the coast. After -landing a pasaenger at tKc Port, sl\e proceeded to Dunedin. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
