The sale of Messrs Kermode and Moore’s station property to-day, by Messrs Matson and Co, was largely attended. Glenraark sta’ ion, including 35,781 acres freehold, 11,500 acres leasehold, and 25,000 sheep, was sold for 1.85,000 to Mr G H. Moore ; Dean Peaks station, including 4,099 acres freehold, 7,550 acres leasehold, and 5,000 sheep, was sold for LI 3,500 to Mr Frank Courage ; Waikari station, of 3,000 acres freehold, and 3,000 sheep, was sold for L 6,500 to Mr G. H. Moore; the Black Hill station, 34,670 acres leasehold, and 12,500 sheep, was sold to Mr G. H. Moore for L 13.500 ; Doctor’s Hills station, 34,670 acres leasehold, and 12,500 sheep, was sold to Mr G. H. Moore for 1.14,750; Ashburton station, 7.000 acres freehold, 66,000 acres leasehold, and 40,000 sheep was sold to G, H. Moore for Lf>2,ooo. The Hon. E. W, Stafford bid L 51.500 for the latter property, and afterwards offered Mr Moore LSOO for his bargain, bub was refused. Several small fats of freehold property were also sold, and the total sum realised at the sale was L 188,631.
