The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 492 10s 7d.

The attendance at Messrs M‘Landless, Hepburn, and Co.’s sale, this afternoon, of twentyone years’ Corporation leases of the undermentioned property, was large, and the bidding was spirited. The first lot sold was that at the corner of Princes and High streets, occupied by Messrs Mercer, Jacobs, Esquilant, and Brown. It has a frontage to the former street of 68ft IQin. and to the latter of 62ft 3in. The buildings wore valued at L 447 Bs, and the upset price was L 5 10s per foot for the Princes street frontage only. Messrs A, and T. Inglis were the purchasers at L 8 Is. The next lot was that adjoining, also having a frontage to Princes and High streets —to the former 28ft 7in, and to the latter 27ft Gin. The upset price was L 7 10s per foot, with a valuation of L 315 10s. Mr L. Jacobs was tho purchaser atLll 6s. The third lot was that oceupied by Messrs Kirkpatrick and Glendining, having a frontage of 57ft gin to Princes street. The buildings were valued at L 1,198, and the upset price was L 5 10; per foot. The present occupiers became the purchasers at L 6 ss. The next lot was that occupied by the Sussex hotel and Mr C. Moser, in George street, with a frontage of 34ft 7in, and the use of a right-of-way lift wide. The valuation of the buildings was fixed at L 327 15s, and the upset price at L2 per foot. Mr Bannatyne was the purchaser, at L 3 ss. The allotment adjoining the Black Bull Hotel in George street, with cottages thereon, having a frontage of 46ft 2in to George and London streets, rental charged on George street frontage only. The upset price was 20s per foot. It was bought by Mr Wilkinson at LI 6s. The last lot sold was that section in George street occupied by Messrs Cuiss and Landall, with a frentage to George and London streets, of 43ft. The buildings were valued at L 56, and the upset price was 20s per foot. Mr John Gray was the buyer at LI 13s. The total amount realised by the sale was a little over L 1,400.
