This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and J. Brown, JfiSjq., J-F.) The Cumberland .street Nuisance.— Moses Bardsiey, John B. Munson (trustee m the estate of J. M. Momou), and Ihomas Dick (trustee in the estate of James Alien), were charged with allowing a quantity ot water, so as to cause a nuisance, to remain stagnant at tne Dank of ibo Album ouap Works. Bardsley said lie could abate the nuisance if the Corporation would provide a system of drainage. His Worship said the Corporation were not prepared to go to the expense of draining the city for the sake of one or two sections, and would adjourn the wh de of the case for a mouth, hut if the nuisance was not entirely abated by that time a heavy fine would be indict; d.
