We learn by telegraph fram Wellington that the Colonial rifle meeting at Nelson is fixed for March 4th. At the WestTaieri competition to-day for Colonial representatives, Vol. D. Buchanan made 74 points, and Vol. <l. Buchanan 73 points. Gunner Cato was highest scorer, with o4 points, at the Artillery’s competition this morning for the Company’s Belt.
