To the Editor. The letter in your this mornings issue, signed “ A gus, I hope, will have the desired effect If Councillor Mercer has not the good sense to resign his position as Councillor, after so abusing the position he holds as to vole in reference to the Corporation lease that is now expiring, and in which he has a direct interest, it is to be hoped that the ratepayers will express to him, in as public a manner as possible, their disapprobation of so degrading a course of conduct.1 am, Ac., Watchdog.
