The brigantine Bertha has over 700 bales of wool on board : 150 more will complete her cargo. . . The coaster Crest of the Wave came in this morning from Napier, having le f t there on January 4th, and experienced fine weather along the coast. She brings wool for the Otago. The anchorage of Port Chalmers harbor was well tested to-day by a gale of wind from the S. W. All the vessels bung on to the moonngs, and none dr gged, nor was any damage done. The Pretty Jane, which expected to get away to-day, will probably be detained until the wind moderates a little.
