The Rangatira arrived in Port at 8.30 am. to-day, and went alongside the company’s collier, William Ackers.aftor which she steamed alongside tho Peter Denny to ischarge her wool. Captain Hepburn reports leaving Wellington last Monday night at 8 p.m. for the Kaikouras, and arrived there in the morning; took in a cargo of wo •! and left on Wednesday night, and experienced thick foggy weather all the way down. Captain Hepburn reports seeing a la ge full-rigged ship off Banks Peninsula, but owing to the foggy weather could not make her out. The Government steamer Luna came out of dock earlv this morning. The Samson passed through this morning on her way to Oaraaru. The Palmerston was moved by the Geelong this morning worn the Quarantine Ground. She comes to the Railway Pier to discharge. H.M.S. Dido lifted anchor at 1-30 p.m. today, and cleared the Heads half an hour afterwards. Her destination is, we believe, Auckland.
