THE LATE MR WILLIAMS.
The services in connection with the funeral of the late Hev. Mr Williams were held in the Baptist Chapel. Hanover street, to-day, beginning about fifteen minutes to three. The bier was brought into the chapel and placed in front of the platform. We noticed the following clergymen on the platform Revs Dr Stewart, E. 0. Edwards, Isitt, Dow, Reid, Knseby, Blake, Dr Copland, and the following members of the congregation ; Air i homas Dick. W. Morse, aud air Kincaid, and others. The services were commerced by the singing of hymn 6D2, Mr Dick giving out the hymn, Mr 110-eby then engaged in prayer; afterwards, Mr Edwards, of .St. Raul's, read part of the loth chapter of Ist Corinthians ; and then Mr Reid addressed the congregation in a very impressive speech. Mr Cow, at the dose of Mr Reid’s address, engaged in prayer, aud afterwards pronounced the benediction.
