The brig Pakeha, with timber, was towed to town this forenoon by the Geelong. The steamer Wanganui is due at Port Chalmers this evening. The steamer Samson left Dunedin this morning, called at Port Chalmers’ Jetty, and proceeded to Oamaru, leaving at 9 a. rn. The barque Queen of the South lias finished discharging her sugars. She discharged 7085 bags. She proceeds to Wellington to-morrow to discharge the remainder of her cargo. The ship Bulwark will haul alongside the Railway Pier to-morrow to discharge the remainder of her cargo. The Palmerston is also expected, as soon as she is admitted to pratique, wluch will be on Monday, supposing no fresh cases occur ou board.
