JAMES M'NEIL SIMPSON (Late of the firm of Simpson A Asher) Begs to intimate to his friends and the public that he has resumed Business on his own account as WHOLESALE and RETAIL BUTCHER, on the premises lately occupied by Mr John Veitch, where fafe hopes, by keeping only the choicest qualities of Meat, and by prompt attention to orders, to merit a share of the patronage so liberally bestowed upon the late firm during his connection with it.

No. I.—The Dunedin Artillery, Dunedin Naval, Ist battalion 0.E.V., and Cadets, will parade at the Head-quarter Drill-shed, at 3‘15 o’clock p.m., on Saturday next, the 21st inst., for the reception of His Excellency the Governor and Commauder-in-Chief. Uniform, arms, and accoutrements ; every member expected to be present. The Dunedin Artillery will fire a Salute of Seventeen Guns on His Excellency’s landing. The No. 1 City Guards, Rifles, and Battalion Band will form the Guard of Honor. Note.— Members of Country Corps visiting Dunedin are requested to attend in uniform, and take part iu the reception, No. 3.—The Battalion Drill, ordered for Thursday next, will not take place, The Scottish Corps will parade for Special Drill on that day, By order.
