National Rifle Association medal and L2 ; second prizs, courier bag, presented by Mr G. Young ; third prize L 3; fourth, lifth, and sixth prizes, L2 each ; seventh, eighth, ninth, t nth, eleventh, and twelfth prizes, LI each.
X* uioumauui xi. ls, awcsw-* Considering the weather, the shooting in this match, especially at the long range, was very good. Not only was tfyo wind very uncertain and at times very strong, but it was piercingly cold.
Tijis Day. Third Match. — 1 00, 500, 600 yards; 5 shots at each range ; position, any. Ist prize, field-glass (presented by Messrs Harrop and fill) and 1-2; 2nd prize, L 4; 3rd, 4th, sth. and (sth prizes. 1/2 ; 7th, Bth. 9th, 10th, 11th, and I2th prizes, LI each.
Four others made 47 points, but, having scored less at the last range than Jamieson. Fraser and Reid, failed to secure prizes. At the last range, Frederic and Christie were ties for first place, with one shot each to go. Christie made an outer and Frederic a centre. The latter therefore takes first prize.
