Hammond’s application to purchase sections 5, 014(3, 0, block 5, Waitahuua East, was agreed to. The Assessor reported that run 303 could carry 4300 sheep ; No. 391, 3100 sheep ; No. 350,‘ 14,250. Thu request of W. Falconer, Captain of the Utepopo Volunteers, that sections 7, 8, and 9, block 23, Herbert, should be reserved for their drill shed, ami section 22 to 29 inclusive, block 29, for a ri He range, was declined. On the application of Taylor and White to purchase sections 3 and 17, block 2, Midwakatip, it was resolved to open section 17, the other section having already been leased by the Warden, Mr M‘Gushap applied for the extension of leave to J, Saunders to prospect for coal at* wake River.—Three mouths’extension was granted. Robert Rennie’s application for a lease of the Boat Harbor Reserve was declined.
