The Alhambra, from Melbourne via Hokitika and Northern Ports, arrived at 1.40 p.m. ; and the Pretty Jane, from Port Moly neux, at 4.20 p.m. The schooner Strathnaver arrived last evening with timber from Mercury Bay, and passed up to Dunedin. The p.s. Samson arrived last evening from Oamaru, and was placed alongside the ship J. N. Fleming to discharge part cargo. The coal-laden barque Eleanor was yesterday afternoon placed alongside the hulk Henbury to tranship cargo. The brig Ziska was last evening towed to sea by the steaming Geelong. Her destination was Melbourne, with original cargo. We learn that the s s. Wallabi had yesterday completed temporary repairs, and would leave the Bluff to-day for Dunedin, with a cargo of timber, and that after discharging cargo she, will cuter the Floating Dock for examination and repairs. Another attempt is to be made to raite the steamer Barwou at Cape Nelson, if not entire, at any rate in pieces.
