Tnc Bishop of Winchester has inhibited the Rev. Mr Wilkins, of Swan more, Isle of Wight, for kissing his stole in the pulpit of St Michael’s Church, Southampton, on the occasion of the re-opening a few days since, and his lordship has also called upon the Rev. F. M. Gregory, the vicar, to offer explanations as regards the use of incense and the performance of other practices contrary to the Rubric on the same occasion. There was another scene at the church on Sunday evening. The Rev.
