Claud Hamilton arrived from Lyttelton this afternoon at 4.20. The 8.8. Waipara sailed for Lyttelton at 6.30 last evening. .i The s.s. Maori sailed for Lyttelton via intermediate ports, at 1 a m. to-day. The s.s. Storm Bird sailed for Invercargill at noon to-day. , The s.s. Pretty Jane sailed for the M<dyneux to-day at I p.m. The barque Eleanor, from Newcastle (October 31), coal-laden, arrived at the Heads this forenoon, and signalled for a tug, on which the p.a. Geelong proceeded to the barque to tow her in. A fore-and-aft schooner, supposed to he the Jessie, from the Bluff, arrived this forenoon, and continued her course to Dunedin. A brig was observed to be at at the Heads this morning, which on being signalled proved to he the Yiska, from 100-Chow-Foo.
