THE VOLUNTEERS.

The Dunedin Volunteer Artillery this morning fired a return match against the Bank of England Rifle Association, upon the same condition as the last, viz., 7 ®B°ts at ranges of 200, 500, and 600 yards, Wimbledon position and targets, Government rifles, ammunition, &c. The weather was all that could he desired, and the average made by the Artillery, though a medium one, was sufficient to beat their antagonists by 80 points. Lieut. Muir is the highest scorer with 64, followed by Gunner Cato with 61, while for the Bankers, Sergt. Peck heads their list with 55. The following are the scores of the respective teams ;
