This Day, (Before His Worship the Mayor and J. Brown, Esq., J, R.) PjXqJ y K ENNESS. Peter M'Liskey, 20s, or f8 bqurs Til KI T. James M‘Kinlay, charged with stealing from the shop dolor of John Healey, grocer, one tin of preserved meat, value 2s, pleaded guilty. .He called as witness to character Mr Hoodie, who said he had known accused some eight or ton years, and had found him to be thoroughly upright. His Worship said, as it was his first offence, and as he had a good character given him, ho would be sentenced to 24 hours’ imprisonment with hard labor, BYE-LAW CASE. Michael Fahey was fined 10s and costs for having an unregistered goat.
