A strike in the Belgian coal district of Borin ago, which has been quietly conducted up to the present, has begun to assume a more serious aspect. Ten thousand men are out on strike, and gendarmes and troops have been despatched to the spot, as disturbances are apprehended. Powder magazines cannot be dreaded as much at Sandhurst as they arc at other places. An advertiser there, announcing that he has boafd and residence, gives to those requiring such a reason why they should avail themselves of his house, the reason assigned being that it is near the powder magazine.
