A ketch, supposed to be the Redcliffe, arrived this morning and passed up to Dunedin. The brig Thomas and Henry that arrived at the U eada yesterday afternoon from tho Bluff with 150,000 fret of timber for Lyttelton, proceeds on her voyage with the first favorable wind. The Storm Bird left the Bluff at 11 p.ra. on the 24th, experienced strong north-cast wind with heavy seas to arrival, arrived at the Heads at midnight on the 25th, and anchored till 5 the following morning, when she proceeded on to Port Chalmers, thence to town. We are indebted to the steward for files. We learn that the ketch Flying Squirrel, that sailed hence on September 28th with provisions for Martin’s Bay, had twice been within a few miles of her destination, when adverse gales caused her to run to Stewart’s Island for shelter, at which place she was on the 16th instant.
