Mr Holloway, of pill and ointment reputation, is about to erect, at his own expense, a middle-class asylum at Virginia Water. The asylum will cost from L 70,000 to LI('0,00(1, and will accommodate 200 patients. A movement under the name “Le Denier des Eccles,” has been set on foot by the Liberal press of Brussels for the purpose of stimulating the creation of free lay schools. Large sums have already been subscribed, and the movement promises to assume considerable dimensions.
