The Privileges Committee has reported ou the Harrison-Brogdeu case—First, that there is no evidence showing that proposals derogatory to the dignity of the House had been made by Mr Brogden or by his authority. Secondly, that the evidence, while disclosing a suspicion of an unhealthy state of affa ; rs, is not sufficient to show that Capt. Holt had violated the privileges of the House. Thirdly, that the Committee regrets that Mr Harrison bad made such charges, founded on private conversation.
