The brigantine Emulous from Kakanui, arrived at the Heads this morning, amlafc 3 p.m, was beating up the lower oroas channel The three-masted schooner Mercury sailed this forenoon for Wellington, and cleared the Heads at I p.m. The coasters, Janet Ramsay, for Wanganui ; Nightingale, for Stewart’s Island; and Elina M'Phee, for Gatlin’s River ; sailed to-day for their scleral destinations.
