The brigantine Emulous from Kakanui, arrived at the Heads this morning, amlafc 3 p.m, was beating up the lower oroas channel The three-masted schooner Mercury sailed this forenoon for Wellington, and cleared the Heads at I p.m. The coasters, Janet Ramsay, for Wanganui ; Nightingale, for Stewart’s Island; and Elina M'Phee, for Gatlin’s River ; sailed to-day for their scleral destinations. The schooner Mary Gumming has just arrived at the Heads, and has signalled for the tug Geelong, which proceeds to tew her in. ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. ARRIVED.
