, Last night, John William Cazaly, aged 64, one of tire directors of the Green Harp Gold Mining Company, died in terrible agony from strychnine, administered by himself. The deceased was much respected, and confessed to his family, just previous to his death, that he had poisoned himself. He came from Australia a few months since, whore he had accumulated a large sura of money. Upon his arrival here he was induced, by the representations wade to him, to buy Green Harp shares. At first he was very cautious, but when the wickedly false statements were made that the crushings had turned out so rich, and that the mine promised to make the foitunes of the shareholders- he invested bis whole savings in it,
and was made a director in consequence, and from his known wealth and experience in quartz reefs, and the high character borne by him for integrity.
