, Last night, John William Cazaly, aged 64, one of tire directors of the Green Harp Gold Mining Company, died in terrible agony from strychnine, administered by himself. The deceased was much respected, and confessed to his family, just previous to his death, that he had poisoned himself. and was made a director in consequence, and from his known wealth and experience in quartz reefs, and the high character borne by him for integrity. A Ithough this is the first death of a victim of the swindle, many men are made utterly bankrupt by it. Kose Evans is playing to crowded houses, Sphor’s “ Last Judgment” was performed by the Choral Society last evening, and was a great success.
