To the Editor , Sir, — Now that the fine weather has set in, I do not think it would be too much to request the various drapers and grocers to close their premises at six o’clock every evening, Saturday excepted. I understand that in one drapery establishment in George street there are forty bauds employed, and I am sure that, before the summer is over, we shall not see so many delicate young men and women in the various retail establishments in town. By closing at six o’clock during the summer, it would give ample time for recreation and enjoyment. Trusting that this matter will he taken up,—l am. &c. A Citizen,
