STEAM MAIL SERVICES.

The following is a statement of the average number of days occupied in transit of mails outwards and iuwards between the United Kingdom and the several ports of New Zealand the periods specified, also the average for all New Zealand ports during the same peri <ds, from May, 1871, to March 1872 ; together with the annual cost of steam services, including contribution to the Suez line, from January, 1863, to June, 1872, taken from a return laid before Parliament : Outwards.
