Hokitika, September 4. Barbor, late postmaster at Hokitika, was found guilty on one charge of embezzlement, the jury recommending him to mercy. Another charge is now proceeding against him. 2.40 p.m. The second charge against Barbor has been withdrawn by instructions of the General Government. Sentence will be passed to-morrow. W ellivgton, September 4. The House to-day decided that Mr John Martin was guilty of a breach of urivilege for threatening to make Mr Andrew, member for Wairarapa, pay LSOO for his vote last session on the Martin claims. Mr Martin has been ordered to aiapear at the bar of the House on Tuesday.
