, The amount of revenue received at the Cus tjm-house on goods cleared for consumption to-day, was L4807s lOd.

Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn, and Co, offered for sale to-day at their rooms, Manse street, sundry City Corporation leaseholds. Lot 1, having a frontage of 99 feet to Manse street, at the upset price of L2 per foot (Messrs Oliver and Ulph). Lots 6, 7, and 8, fronting Bond street —91 feet 4 inches—sold to Mr W Guthrie, at 7s 6d per foot. Lot 5, having a frontage of 33 feet to Princes street, to Mr Jas. Gore, at 16s per foot. The lot purchased by Mr Oliver now brings in only 5s a year. There was also sold part of Mr Thoneman’s Corporation lease of the Pound reserve —three-quarters of an acre— Mr Sievwright being the purchaser at L 22 a year.
