CAVERSHAM ELECTION.

The declaration of the poll was made at noon to-day by the Deputy Returning Officer, Mr W. P. Street. The numbers were : Stout ... ... 148 Fish ... ... 109 Leary ... ... 90 Mr Stout was declared duly elected. Mr Stout returned thanks to the electors. Mr Fish and Mr Leary were unavoidably absent through attendance at the Mayor’s Court. A vote of thanks was awarded to the Returning Officer.
