The Government have received information of the existence of pearl and oyster beds, at the Northern territory. The latest from Darwin says the cable is still interrupted. It is reported that a vessel belonging to New Zealand, has arrived at Perth, and has been highly successful in pearl fishing. The Adelaide Insurance Company has declared a dividend of 10a per share. Wheat, 5s 9d to 5s 10d.

Ann Douglas, a married woman, died suddenly on Tuesday night, bhe was supposed to have been poisoned by cnrrie powder ; but the Doctor’s examination proved death to have resulted from disease of tho heart. The heaviest snow storm for years occurred here last night.
