Supreme Court. —At 4.30 p.ru. today, the jury in Hunter v. Cargill and others had been out of Court an hour and a-half, but had not agreed to a verdict. The Dunedin Colored Opera Troupe, b y advertisement to-day, desire tb draw attention to their distinctive title : especially as there is another association with •whom the public arc apt to associate them, ‘ The Dunedin Sable Orphans.'’ We shall be glad to see a healthy rivalry in music between the two. The Princess Alice of Hesse has been confined of a daughter. The Duke of Edinburgh is making a Royal progress in Ireland, and has been received with the warmest demonstrations of loyalty.
