The Storm Bird left the Bluff <it 4 p. in. on Saturday ; called over at Dog Island for passengers ; left Dog Island at 5 SO the same evening, and arrived in town at id. 4o yesterday morning, having had fine weather the whole trip. Wo are indebted to Mr Swain, the steward, for files. The s.s. Wellington, from Wellington via Lyttelton, arrived with the Kan Francisco mails, ex Nebraska, at 10.45 this morning. Her passengers, mails, &c., were shortly after arrival conveyed to Dunedin by the p.s. Bcninsula. The brigantine Swordfish, with cargo from Hobart Town, arrived this forenoon, and was towed to Dunedin by the steam-tug Geelong. The schooner James Paxton, from the Coast, arrived this forenoon, and continued her course to Dunedin. The schooner Fiery Cross, from the Coast, is reported at the Heads, The barque Brunette, Capt. Webb, from New York, was last evening towed to the port by the steam-tug Geelong.
