The amount of revenue received at the Cus om-house on goods cleared for consumption to-day. was L2BO 11s 7d,

Prime samples of milling wheat are being offered in considerable parcels at os 6d. The town millers are not willing to give this price, and transactions have been limited to the sale of a few small lots. The value buyers place on good samples is os 3d. Inferior wheat, suitable for producing secondclass flour, is selling freely at 4s 6d Fowl wheat is scarce, hut there is no improvement on the price, 3s. In oats a slightly firn er quotation may bo given ; prime milling sorts are placed at Is I Id to 2s, but the latter price would not be given for large lots; feeding samples move at Is 9d to Is lOd. Inferior barley is in active demand at 4s (id to 4s 9d, and there is but little coming forward. Malting samples continue firm at 5s Gd. Potatoes are very scarce ; small sales were made yesterday at L 7, but LG 10s is the value for parcels. Flour is only in trade demand. The price is linn, and likely to continue so. Sacks, Ll3.
