BIRTH.
Walker. —On the 25th July, at the Kaik, Otago Heads, the wife of Mr W. H. Walker, of a son.
IT is now nearly ten years since Barron, Grant, and (Jo.’s Whisky became known in New Zealand, during which time it has been held in high and ever-increasing favour as ft toddy mixture 01' for grog. It is a hloii'i of pure malt Whiskies, a >;iroved on the in trinsic merits of the sample only, and with little regard to tlv; freijuently fictitious excellence of various brands. In addition to being carefully selected, the various kinws are all thoroughly matured and mellowed m wood, and the ultimate result is a bb-nd for the superiority of which the firm pledges itreputation.
