The s.s, Tararua was last evening lightened aft so as to permit the rudder being unshipped. This done, it was found that thelruddcr was slightly twisted|from the head to the upper pintal, and the lower pintal had been broken off. The straightening and repairs are expected to be completed ts-moi • row/no other damage having been sustained. The s.s. Storm Bird sailed at 10 o’clock last night for Invercargill. The s.s.
