MAILS CLOSE, Wednesday, July 24th. For Tiraaru and Akaroa, per s.s. “ Maori” at 1.30 p.m. Per s.s. Alhambra, as under:— For India, China, Japan, Penang, Singapore, Manilla, Aden, Mauritius, the British, French, and Austrian Post Offices at Alexandria. Foreign countries, via Brindisi, Malta Gibraltar, and France (direct) at 11-30 am. For Australian Colonies (except Victoria), at 12,30 p.m. For London, via Southampton, via Brindisi, and Victoria at 1 p. m. For issue of money orders, and posting of registered letters and newspapersat 10 a.m. Late letters may be posted as under : Australian Colonies, except Victoria, till 1 p.m. For London via Southampton, via Brindisi, and Victoria with one additional single rate per letter, till 1,30 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand at 1;30 p.m.
