A topsail schooner, supposed to be the Jane Anderson, from Havelock, arrived and passed np to I 'unedin this forenoon. Owing to the heavy easterly sea on the coast, the Beautiful Star, for Timaru ami the Geelong, for Oamarn, have been furthei postponed till to-morrow. . , , _ , The following telegram, received by Capt. Thomson, the harbor master, has been kindly banded tons for publication :—l he brig Our Hope parted one cable and drove in abreast of the Gap at Oamarn. She cannot work out to sea now, being too close inshore, and it is doubtful if she will rule *nfc {he gale with only one anchor. Tb« s.s.
