This Company is being established as a purely Colonial Institution, distributing its Shares as widely over New Zealand as possible, by allotting a fair proportion to each Province. The business of Insurance in New Zealand has become so extended that foreign companies are constantly appearing on the field, and withdraw large sums of money from the colony, clearly showing that, with the ini creasing prosperity of the country, there is ample room for a sister institution to the Now Zealand Insurance Company, which, during an existence of thirteen years, has met with unprecedented success, saving many thousands of capital to the colony, and i therewith fostering local enterprises. The operations of the Company will be conducted vitli extreme caution, and upon sound principles; its success being insured

by the business largely emanating from its own Shareholders. A deposit of 5s per share to be paid on application, and a further sum of 5s per share on allotment; no further call being anticipated. J. F. CLARK, Secretary j>ro tern. 13, Insurance Buildings Auckland.
