IN GAS WORKS. In consequence of a slight misunderstanding between the City Council and the Proprietor of the Dunedin Gas Works he feels it due to the Citizens to intimate to them that he has no intention of departing from the promise previously made, to the effect that for three years from the Ist of March last, the price of Gas to all consumers paying their rates before the 15th of each month should not exceed 12s Odper 1000 cubic feet.
