SPIRITUAL INVESTIGATION ASSOCIATION.
To the Editor. Sir, —I am sorry to trouble you about what is not true in your report of our meeting last evening. You say, “ The lecturer perforce went over a good deal of the ground that has been traversed times out of number. He demonstrated that Spiritualism was no thing of to-day, but had its disciples years ago, only they were neither so strong or able as they now are to give expression to their opinions. The above does not even by inference, convey what was said by mo. I can only arrive at the conclusion that your report must have bean guess work. It is equally untrue that Mr Christie past a severe comment on the teaching and pretentions of Spiritualiam, or that Mr C. complained of having been elected without his consent, he having been present at the time ; but now found that he would not be able to attend the duties of committee, owing to his living so far out of town. Knowing your impartiality and desire to put right where in error, I trust you will insert this and oblige.—l am, &c., T. Rbdmavne. Dunedin, June 28, 1872.
