A. DISCLAIMER.

To the Editor. Sir, —Your correspondent, Mr Wilson, in Saturday’s Star complains before he is hurt. He also errs greatly in supposing that a “ Spiritualistic society” has been formed— No such thing. It is a society for investigating the pretensions of the so-called philosophy, almost entirely consisting of absolute sceptics, who are resolved to give the subject an honest investigation, as did the Dialectical Society of London. After Laving done so they will of course, according to their finding, report it to be true and worthy of acceptance or brand it as false, and banish it from their midst as they would a raging epidemic.—l am, &0., W. C.
