THE MAYORALTY.
To the Editor. Sir, — I beg to call the attention of the citizens of Dunedin to the merits of an old and well tried public servant, Mr John Barnes. Why not reward him by electing him as Mayor for the next year ? The class that would oppose him, I know, are able with the pen, so 1 shall content myself by sounding the war nolo. Working men rally round.— Yours, &c., Curley.
