MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Charles Lawson and James Wilks, charged with being drunk and disorderly, were fined 40s each ; Charles M ‘Auley was fined 10s; Julia Mayne was fined ss. WIFE DESERTION. Win. Fraser was brought up on warrant for having deserted his wife and three children at Wellington on the Ist day of March. He was ordered to pay 20s per week, or in default one month’s imprisonment. John Peter Bock, an warrant, was charged with having deserted his wife at Dunedin on the 23rd jjday of November, 1871. He was ordered to pay 10s per week.
