(FROM GREVILLE’s TELEGRAM COMPANY, REUTER’S AGENTS.) Cromwell, May 21. The Robert Burns Company yesterday crushed 61 ozs. of gold from 50 tons of stuff. Auckland, May 2G. At an adjourned meeting of the Freight Company, it was resolved to form a company, with a capital of LIO,OOO, in LlO shares. The calls to be devoted to chartering first-class vessels in London, where the business shall be conducted by a competent agent, under a London Board of Directors. A deputation waited on Mr Saed, re the drawbacks, recommended to refund all duty where marks on packages were undisturbed. They presented a scale of drawback on goods repacked, and recommended tbeir abolition, with a limitation of time and the place exported to. Mr Seed concurred with the recommendation, and said the Government were anxious to remove the restrictions as far .impossible.
