Public Notices. NOTICE! JQUNEDIN GAS WORKS. To the CITIZENS of DUNEDIN and Suburbs : In fulfilment of a promise made on the 9th September last, to a deputation of Citizens, THE PROPRIETOR of the Dunedin. Gas Works lias satisfaction in announcing that he is not only prepared to carry out his engagement, but to offer even more liberal inducements to large and regular consumers who will pay rates promptly. From the Ist of January prox., Gas supplied by the Dunedin Gas Works will be on the following terms : To Consumers who pay tfeeir rates not later than the 15th of each month, the charges will be 15s per 1000 feet for casual consumers. To Consumer? for contracts entered into for three years (transferable to successors in business or to otherpremises) 12s fid per 1000 feet. For which, contract forms are to be had at the Gas Office, Princes street. N.B.—All rates payable monthly.
