Barton v. Lowe. —LI 10s for boots supplied. The defendant said he owed the firm of Barton and Mitchell the money. The plaintiff in his evidence, said that the debts of the firm were assigned to him on the dissolution of the partnership. The defendant refused to accept the evidence without production of the deed. The plaintiff accordingly produced the deed through Mr M ‘Keay, solicitor. Judgment for the plaintiff by consent, with costa.
