Gentlemen, — THE “Land Transfer Act, 1870” (based upon the orif inal Torrens’s Land Act), is just closing its first year of existence, and so far as the country is concerned I believes, as some of you may know, the result is more than satisfactory ; as for myself, a Licensed Broker under the Act, the result is flattering,—in other words, I have received during the year an ample share of the business going, in Dunedin, from the Suburbs, and throughout the Province.
