To the Editor, Sir. —There is a story told, that in a certain action at law, the brief of the counsel for the defendant w.> endorsed —no case, abuse the plaintiff. From the tenor of the leaders which so frequently appear in the Otct'jo Dali i) Times, I should think somewhat similar instructions have been given to the
editor of that journal, namely—when in want of a subject to write upon, abuse Vogel and the mail contract. —I am, &c. W. Dunedin, April 9, 1872.
