Education Board. —Yesterday, at a special meeting of the Education Board, the Inspector of Schools read the evidence taken by him in the presence of the school committee and teacher, Mr H. P. Macklin, in support of certain complaints made by tho committee of the Kaikora District School. On hearing the evidence, the Board authorised the school committee to determine the engagement with Mr Macklin on three months’ notice in terms of the Education Ordinance.
